HTFA is also located in Argentina, Spain and the United States of America with local coaches and representatives in each of these countries. HTFA has dedicated accommodation for players, providing an environment complete with onsite chef, nutrition education, sports science, fitness, recovery and of course specific football training sessions. Existing relationships with professional football clubs across multiple divisions allows the opportunity to be personally introduced to club officials and coaching staff for trials.
-
In short, YES. HTFA understands that not everyone can play at the most elite level although given the vast opportunities across the many playing divisions in these countries, finding a comparable level is achievable. Be it as a professional or semi-professional or even at an amateur level for the mere experience.
-
YES. HTFA understands that paying in lump sum can be a challenge for some participants and their families, therefore periodic payment plans are offered for each player. Receipts are issued for each deposit along with an updated outstanding total against the overall cost of the service offered. More information to be provided.
-
NO. HTFA is in the business of all things football so has sourced the assistance of a licensed, experienced and independent travel agent within Australia to support participants with flights, visas, travel insurance and any other logistical requirements associated with travel from Australia (and within Oceania) to other countries.
-
The easiest way to get the ball rolling (pardon-the-pun) is to simply complete a Registration form and we’ll be in contact with you upon reviewing the information. Of course if you have any burning questions you can email us info@hat-trickfootballagency.au or give us a call if you’d like to speak with us directly.
-
Whilst HTFA will not necessarily fund tours, tournaments or trials on behalf of teams and individuals, it will provide support in terms of marketing material for fundraising purposes along with providing a formal letter articulating the event and market exposure for potential sponsors. Specific requests will also be considered.
-
Of course. Parents are not only welcome, they are actually encouraged to join the travelling teams/individuals and experience the wonderful cultural exchanges, football quality and unique opportunities first hand. The program does vary marginally for parents to cater for downtime whilst some of the auxiliary training sessions take place. Some examples may include wine tours, visiting iconic sites or simply enjoying local cuisines.
-
YES, all our coaches and representatives are screened with a National Police Check and in possessesion of a Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) certification prior to commencing any work with players participating in HTFA programs.
-
HTFA Australia will generally hand over any professional contract negotiations to a FIFA licenced Players Agent within the HTFA network (agent fees may apply). Alternatively, support for semi-professional or amateur contracts will be provided through the facilitation of conversations directly with clubs (no agent fees apply). The success and satisfaction of players within the HTFA ecosystem is the underlying objective with the deliberate focus on ‘giving back’ to Australian football when players eventually return home.
-
YES. HTFA has a strong focus on education given that football is still very much a short playing career at professional and semi-professional levels. The opportunities are plentiful so rest assured most areas of interest can be catered for, be it through universities, colleges or private institutions. At minimum, learning a new language can be a fulfilling option depending on your personal objectives or playing contract arrangements.
-
NO and YES. Whilst its a NO in terms of formal agreements or preferences, it’s a YES in terms of local knowledge and direct access to a vast range of options, predominantly within the countries of Spain and USA. Relationships with football clubs do exist across not only the top five professional and semi-professional divisions but also with a number of amateur clubs. As for academic institutions, a good example is HTFA’s participation in an annual football scholarship event in the USA whereby over 100 universities are represented by scouts to select players for full or partial scholarships. These trials are an invitation-only event .
-
Holistically it is fair to say that HTFA caters for the ages of 9 to 18+ years across its programs although there are obviously some exceptions along the way. For example, in terms of Australian-based football clinics, ages do start from 9 years old, whilst international tours and tournaments ages start from 10-11 years old (U/12). Selective camp participation or club training experiences for individuals can also start from 10-11 years (U/12) although they must be accompanied by an adult family member. Individual trials for professional playing contracts and Play-Study programs start from 17-18 years old.
-
YES. HTFA has existing relationships with both professional photographers and videographers who can tailor action shots and footage. Offerings can include team based packages or individual player profile productions ready to share with prospective clubs. Whilst HTFA can facilitate these options, they do incur additional costs for participants especially for specific requests.
-
HTFA is expanding each calendar year with the view of offering specialised football clinics across most states within Australia. In 2025, clinics are planned for Sydney (NSW), and the Central Coast (NSW), whilst Brisbane (QLD), and Melbourne (VIC), are anticipated for the following year or two. Accredited coaches will be conducting the clinics of which at least two will be travelling from either Spain, Argentina or USA to complement the Australian-based coaches. Drills, techniques and intensive sessions will be heavily influenced by practices adopted in Europe and South America via UEFA Pro coaching programs.
IMPORTANT: A fully expensed paid trip to Spain to train with a professional club will be offered to at least one participant in each state after the week-long clinic. The international coaches will independently select the player displaying a combination of talent, attitude and willingness to learn. The player will then form part of the HTFA talent pool, eligible for selection to represent HTFA Australia in future tournaments and remain at the forefront for consideration to further trials abroad.
-
YES. Football clinics in particular are a great opportunity for assessment as they are also equipped with individual self-assessment reports with specific feedback from coaches noted. Additional consultations are available upon request.
-
HTFA coaches may not be qualified career advisors although, they are more than willing to assist with guidance on post career planning especially if its within specific areas of knowledge such as business-related topics or within football itself. Remembering that HTFA is fundamentally focused on the development of its players be it in football terms or as progressive life skills.
